I was in terrible pain when I visited her, she explained all my problems clearly and the procedure she would be doing on me.

I had severe diverticulitis about 3 years ago. I was referred to a surgeon who wanted to perform traditional therapy and said I had to have it done immediately. He said he didn't believe in laparoscopic. My family Dr. recommended Dr. Shih who looked at my records and determined that it was not an emergency and it could be done with a small incision. The operation was a success and I'm doing well today. She is a terrific doctor.
