Dr. Shirley Yu Su

Dr. Su started treating my dad at age 88. She gave us three courses of treatment to choose from. She did not sugar coat anything and was up front with probabilities and expected results. Daddy opted to go ahead with surgery and the possibility of both radiation and chemo therapy afterwards. His surgery took 10 hours but when his first follow up came, she told us the margins were clear so no radiation or chemo! He will be 92 his next birthday and we give her most of the credit. He will have one more PET scan, if it is still clear, we see her one last time. She is totally committed to the very best care of her patients.

Dr. Su has worked with me for two years and I'm just about finished! She was awesome from the first appointment, she gave me and my wife so much hope! Dr. Su is an excellent physician, she takes time to go over the details of your situation. She has a very positive attitude, and goes out of her way to help, she is very professional, and she cares, and takes time and doesn't rush. She also has an excellent team, I would definitely recommend her!

I have been seen by Dr. Shirley a couple times already. Waiting time really depends on the types or the acuity of patients she's seeing in a day. But mostly, it is quick. Dr Shirley would take her time talking to her patients. And she would really encourage or try to strike a conversation. Speaks to you in a way you'll understand.

Dr. Su did a great job diagnosing my throat cancer. She put together the best team that helped me beat the cancer. She explained everything in a common sense manner. She was very prompt with the plan of attack and getting appointments scheduled. She is also conveniently located in the Clear Lake area. Would highly recommend her.
