This urgent care doctor didn't want to listen to me. She was in a very argumentative mood. Very upsetting to me. I had gone to this urgent care facility one week ago about a sinus infection that had made me very sick. A different doctor helped me and prescribed antibiotics. Instructions were to follow up on this day if not completely well. Had no idea this visit would be such a nightmare.

I thought that doctors were supposed to do there job even when they may not be thrilled with who their patient is, for the sake of human health and the well being of someone. I am an addict. A grateful recovering (for 2 years) addict that was in no way trying to do anything to seek drugs. I told the nurse from the get go that I was an addict and that I do not want any narcotics of any kind and why. I know that when they check my electronic chart that it will tell them of my drug seeking history, so I am always up front so they know that isn't my intention. This was my 4th visit to this facility over the past two months, I had been previously diagnosed with impetigo and had completed 2 rounds of antibiotics, which caused improvement but my condition always returned within days of completing. When I presented to dr. Von haven she took a whole 30 seconds looked at me and very rudely said, this is not impetigo. You have eczema (I do have eczema, I've had it my entire life, and this was… NOT eczema). She wrote me a prescription for hydroxyzine for the itching and told me I should seek psychiatric care. Then proceeded to have the nurse come in to give me a pump of lotion for my face, neck and hands and to have the nurse instruct me to use lotion 3X/day. My now untreated condition (that has also unfortunately been passed to my children and has yet to be treated for fear or having to hear my doctor and nurses laughing and making fun of me all within earshot of myself who is already self conscious due to the fact that I know what they think of me and I know they are going to yet again write me off. This lady should have been a lawyer, or a coroner.
