Dr. Shivani Mitra, MD

Dr. Mitra is by far the best pediatric doctor in all Brevard County. My daughter has been with her since she was 6 years old and switching her physician was the best medical decision ever made. She’s kind, warm, and knows her stuff.

Dr. Mitra has been my daughter's pediatrician since she was born. She has been nothing but amazing to us, we all love her! She is very personable and truly cares about all of her patients. My daughter gets excited to see her! We have had a couple scary times when my daughter was very sick over weekends and nights and Dr. Mitra answered/called us right back. She walked us through steps to follow to get our baby girl healthy again. She never got frustrated with me, even after the 5th call in the middle of the night or the 10-15 times I called her during the day on a Saturday! This is huge to me, as I can be a worry wart and it's extremely nice to know that she doesn't mind my excessive calls when my little is sick... she only cares about her health. And the staff at her office is AMAZING! Everyone is extremely friendly and personable, it's refreshing going to such a busy office and still receiving impeccable care! I highly recommend her to everyone! :)

I have three kids and been with Dr Mitra for last 7 years . Between my 3 kids I might have visited her more than 100 times and not a single time had a bad experience . She is very caring and knowledgeable and even when I tried to call her after hours she takes her time and very sweet. I do not agree with this above mad momma review at all . she has the best rating in the area and her and Dr Jain are first ones to start providing quality care in area . sometimes I feel people go with mad mind and try to slam good doctors for nothing . None of of the facts written by mad momma seems true and seems fabricated out of anger.

Dr Mitra is a very sweet and smart woman, she takes her time with you and will discuss natural remedies if you would rather, she will do shots on a spread out schedule, staff is always friendly, she is always willing to spend more time with you if needed. The not so great, it is warm in the rooms, hand sanitizer should be present in each room and hands should be cleaned between each child, there are no sinks in the rooms or paper towel or tissues. Sometimes they book to many appts like 3 appts for the same time so it takes a while to be seen. usually a dr visit is about one hr from time of walking in to leaving.
