The Dr is very personable. Explains situation well. Uses visuals. Remembered me from a previous appointment from 4 years ago.

Dr. Patel is a wonderful doctor that listens to your concerns.

Dr Patel was pleasant. However I was sent to him for a possible blood flow issue in my leg. He interned the exam room and immediately stated that I had an aortic aneurism. Not at all what I was sent there for. I asked if he was looking at the correct chart. He assured me he was. He said he reviewed the test that had been done by an outside agency and it clearly indicated I had an aneurism. He disregarded the portion of the report that clearly stated that I did not have an aneurism. I left the office totally confused and terrified of his diagnosis! Not to mention that there was no real information given about the original issue the leg. I asked for another scan to confirm the aneurism diagnosis. Only because I insisted did he order a new test to be done at Gettysburg hospital. After being tested it was once again determined that o did not have an aortic aneurism. I simply got a call saying I did not have one. No actual follow up from the doctor who told me I had an aneurism. I'm sure… doctor Patel is a good guy and probably does a great job, but on that day he was not at his best! Being misdiagnosed to that level with something so serious caused me a lot of anxiety and mental stress.
