Dr. Shoaib Mohammad, MBBS, is a senior associate in perioperative anesthesia in the Department of Anesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital and an instructor of anaesthesia at Harvard Medical School. Board certified in both general anesthesiology and pediatric anesthesiology, he specializes in providing anesthesia care for children undergoing a wide range of surgical and medical procedures. Dr. Mohammad earned his medical degree from King Edward Medical University and completed advanced anesthesiology training in the United States. With decades of clinical experience, he is recognized for his expertise in pediatric perioperative care, airway management, and patient safety, as well as his compassionate, family-centered approach to supporting children and families through complex medical treatments and surgeries.
