Saw this dr at the VA she recommended stool softener and water for my husband who has not had a normal bowel movement in months due to colorectal cancer, we questioned her about him getting some relief while he goes through chemo she completely disregarded our suggestion of an ostomy the very next day my husband was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery where they removed most of his colon because it was dead from a lack of blood! He almost died! Stay far and away from this quack!

This MD is quite unprofessional. I my visit she was combative, emotional and made personal negative remarks to me as a patient. I have never experienced that. She yelled and got emotional as if she was the patient. Patients need comfort. She is very impatient and would agree with revue abrupt. She attached my character and made remarks about family. This isn’t an MD . At some point she stopped improving. Sad!

Very nice doctor, easy to talk with and comfortable communication style. Dr. Kankipathi laid out her plan and explained her direction of care.

This doctor is great in all she does. She loves what she does and has a good bedside manner. She will go to bat for you, she did for me and saved my life. Her staff is wonderful Kay is a outstanding experienced nurse and Mary very good at what she does. Just a great team. Thanx

Dr. Shoba is one of the best. Very caring and approachable. I was a patient of hers when I & family were still in Cali. I do still contact her no matter how far we live now. I am very fortunate! and distance will never be a problem at all.
