Dr. Shobana Sampath Vankipuram, MD

Money Minded and Careless Dr. Went for the yearly checkup. All she did was prescribe some medications when i didn't even have any kind of health issues. When i asked her why she prescribed that for, she said that she would talk to me later over phone and left for the day. Later I received a bill. When i called the doctor's office, the doctor's assistant spoke as if the doctor diagnosed and prescribed medications for that! I have not bought the medications in the first place. What a money minded lady is she! The funny thing is I have called few times and emailed the doctor but she has never replied or spoke to me over phone, only the doctor's assistant responded as if she was there during our appointment. I have Vankipuram as my physician for few years and I have been lately observing the doctor not responding to patients concerns thru emails or calls but her charging for something she has not diagnosed is a crazy thing! Not going to her again!

She cancelled my appointment one hour before I was to arrive. I did not recieve an apology from her or anyone at the desk.

I expressed my feelings to this doctor about wanting to hurt someone and I told her that I was venting and that I wouldn't do it because she called the police on me and when the police didn't respond, she called my job and told them what medication I was taking and have taken in the past.
