Dr. Shobha A Chottera, MD

I have had very bad experience with Dr. Shobha A Chottera. I immediately felt comfortable in her presence. Maybe she is knowledgeable but definitely not understanding and caring. She is acting like she is the boss and you are nothing. Dr. Shobha A Chottera is the worst doctor that I have ever met.

This MD actually asked my wife to draft a letter for her signature. The letter was for an authorization for "bedside instruction" so the school would provide tutors for the remainder of the year. This child had been struggling with substance abuse and anxiety. The MD refused to use a fax machine insisting for us to take another drive back to her office so she could sign the authorization letter. When inquiring with her staff about when she would be available to sign the letter, they repeatedly said that they did not know. In short, the tutoring stopped, the Dr. never returned phone calls, the staff never knew when she would be available. They actually wanted us to drop off the draft, then she would get to it when she could, then they would mail the letter....meanwhile, the tutoring would have ceased for over a week with the school year coming to a close, and a good chance this child will be left back to repeat the grade. NICE work IF you happen to speak to R, ask for the other… assistant, she is a little less in the dark.

Dr. Chottera is a very knowledgeable doctor. I felt great going to her and I think I worked a lot of my issues out. If she is reading this I just want to say thank you. S
