Dr. Shobhana S Joshi, MD

Shobhana Joshi, M.D. received her medical degree from the University of Bombay in India, then did an internship at Roxborough Memorial Hospital in Philadelphia, followed by a residency at Norris Town State Hospital in Norris Town, Pennsylvania. Dr. Joshi moved to Michigan to accept a position as psychiatrist at Ypsilanti Psychiatric Hospital, where she served for ten years. She has also worked in directorships at Northville Psychiatric Hospital, Hawthorn Center and Walter P. Reuther Psychiatric Hospital, and as a surveyor of Psychiatric Hospitals for the Centers for Medicaid/Medicare. Dr. Joshi has worked at Oaklawn as a Locum Tenens Physician since April 2011, and has now joined the active medical staff. Dr. Joshi will see patients in Oaklawn's Partial Hospitalization program and outpatient clinic at the Marshall Bear Creek Campus.
