Dr. Shohreh Shahabi, MD

Dr. Shahbi is very competent, knowledgeable, caring, and careful. I had a difficult surgery because I am so thin, and I was worried about bowel and bladder damage, but she did an excellent job and there were no ill effects. She doesn't rush through appointments and follow up, both in the hospital and afterwards, is excellent.

Dr.Shahabi is very caring about you, the patient, as well as the patient's family. She makes iyou feel so welcome, like a; long lost friend. You are in great hands with her.

Dr. Shahabi was absolutely wonderful given the type of practice she is in, she was extremely caring and took things very slowly when explaining things for me. She had absolutey no problem going over things more than once or rewording so that I could understand her better. She was quick to get me additional testing and in turn learn that steering me away from another unnecessary surgery would be most beneficial. As my last few doctors have been very quick to "cut" this was an eye opening experience for me, which I am grateful for. She has since referred me to another doctor that will work with me for medical management of my issue, as opposed to undergoing surgery every year since turning 21. I am a nurse, and I found Dr. Shahabi's bedside manner very unprofessional. She was very condescending and sarcastic to me when I asked her what my non-surgical options were for me.
