Worse doctor l ever met. I went to his office with my husband due they he was having none stop hiccups. PCP referred him to GI the only dr available to see right away was dr Syed (wonder why). He refused for me to enter the room with my husband after he asked the nurse ( l am an RN and my husband primary language is Spanish) the nurse said was dr "discretion" and the put a translator for my husband and left me in the waiting room with the consolation that the Dr will talk to you after he sees your husband. My husband left the room and dr never came to talk to me as prior suggested. I ask again to speak with the DR and someone heard me and brought me to speak with dr. He was very rude, talking to me as a superior person and treating me like l knew nothing. He told me hiccups are no GI related prior doing any testing to my husband and throws on me some papers he printed out with possible causes, well cause #3 was GI problems!! Bottom line l don't know where this dr received his degree… for that reason we cancelled any future appointments and f/u now with a new GI.

He would not share my lab test results with me and seemed unwilling or unable to order and process the correct tests. He was very good at getting me stressed out for no reason that I could figure out. Save yourself a hassle and find a doctor that cares about his patients.

This poor excuse for a Dr made promises to me that he had no intention on keeping. His only concern is for the $$$$ and NOT for his patients. He blatantly LIED to me and, when things went wrong, he said I "misunderstood" him. Too bad for this idiot that I wrote down what he said verbatim AND had a witness who confirmed what he said. This guy is a QUACK/HACK and should have his license to practice medicine taken away by the AMA. Do NOT believe a word he says....he's only in it for the $$$$.

this doctor could care less about his patients

Eats while interviewing patients.Office manner lackadaisical, too familiar, and on occasion inappropriate. When visiting patients in the hospital, inflicts anxiety rather than offering reassurance. Does not include patient's family in care plan discussions.

Dr. Verma, Is very professional, friendly, and his bedside manner is excellent. He really know his stuff and is very knowledge about the care of his of patients.
