Wonderful Doctor ! My son has Down's Syndrome he has been going to Dr. Marathe over ten years. He has always taken the time to understand my son and treat him with love and kindness.

A great office and a ever better Doctor. Really felt taken care of and full trust in the doctors treatment.

i really like dr. marathe very much but most of the staff are very un friendly and act like they don`t want to do anything to help you donna is very nice but if the rest of them if they have to do anything extra they act like you are putting them out

Aweful experience! In less than five minutes with him, I explained all of my symptoms and he declared me depressed. I wasn't depressed at all but was going through menopause since my total hysterectomy and my gynecologist had retired one month after surgery. I told him I felt like something was wrong with my estrogen meds and hormone levels. He sent me on my way with a script for effexor and the highest dosage which I had a severe reaction to. He had no regard for anything I told him nor did he have any interest in my prior history. And when I called five times the next day I was promised a call back and still haven't heard from anyone. They took no responsibility at all, didn't listen to their patient and didnt make any effort to follow up.

I have read the previous reviews only after visiting this doctor. I did not find the office area to be dirty. The staff was professional and courteous . I did wait for my appointment time however I have waited longer at other doctors offices because they double book. This doctor is not double booked he is actually seeng patients at hospital and trying to keep his appointments on time at his office. Btw the office is shared with different Doctors and their staff so don't be so quick to judge the staff of this doctor.his diagnosis were on target and he saved my life. More than I can Say about a hospital er in jacksonville that told me there was nothing wrong

This doctor did not pay attention to my needs. He ignored my family's requests.

I, like others, will not be going back to see this doctor. I made the appt. the day my husband was released from rehab after having 4 strokes. When we went for the appt., the building and office were dirty and cluttered. We were there early for the appt. The lobby was packed with people. We had been waiting for about an hour when an elderly lady (in a wheelchair) came out of the back saying she was not waiting any longer. It had already been 1 hour she was sitting in the exam room waiting. And during the exchange with the nurse, we found out that the doctor was not even there! He was making rounds somewhere else! But the staff didn't tell anybody waiting. So alot patients cancelled their appts. and left. This is rude and, to me, abuse of patients.

This doctor is a joke! Didn't even notice me and my husband. He was too busy typing and writing out scripts that we don't even need. Example: I don't have asthma but he prescribed me an inhaler anyway, didn't test my lungs or anything just prescribed. Then he wants to send my husband to see a shrink? really? And the wait time was ridiculous! My appointment was at 2:40. We arrived at 2:20 so if there was any paperwork that was needed it could be taking care of right then. We didnt get seen til 3:40. The first nurse that took care of us was nice. MD Marathe was a joke and the second nurse that came in after him was... not being a professional at all. She kept checking her cell phone and texting lord knows what, her hair was messy, no makeup on and for being a nurse or (even a secretary. Most of them have their nails done. Maybe it's just me, but I have always got the impression that if someone has nice clean looking nails that means that they take care of themselves. right?) Even… when we left the office no body and I mean no body said " bye thank you hope to see you soon." or "take it easy and we'll see you very soon". I would not recommend this Doctor to anybody family(s) or friend(s) related. If I may be honest, if I didn't have to give them an overall rating it would be zero stars.
