Dr. Shruti G Kapoor, MD

I had a visit about neck pain because I have some compression and arthritis in my spine. I had already seen 3 doctors. I asked her questions about why I wasn't getting an injection, as I had been assured was going to happen on this visit by the previous neurosurgeon I had seen several weeks ago. She said there was not insurance pre-authorization so I asked why I was there if I wasn't getting any treatment and how much longer it would take for another appointment. She said several weeks and I asked more questions about why and her tone changed at that point. She became interruptive, spoke loudly and abruptly, crossed her arms and then asked what do you expect me to do for you? She then said as she was walking out of the room that this is not going to be a very therapeutic relationship so I'm not going to schedule the injection and you can find another doctor.

Dr. Kapoor was no help for pain relief. She is a little abrupt. She had shots, but would not give them to me for my pain. She spoke English, but she did not understand the word, "Amputation."

This doctor needs to be educated in professionalism, compassion, and empathy, all of which she severely lacks. I would not recommend her, and I would never go back. I hope this review keeps at least one person from wasting their time and money on this practice. She humiliates and judges her patients, and shows a real lack of life experience.

Amazing physician. Truly cares. Takes the time to listen, and explain. I actually talked to her about the negative online reviews. She believes it is because she doesn’t prescribe pain pills just to keep people happy and to get good reviews. Reading reviews here, I get it!

THE DOCTOR IS NOTHING BUT AN JOKE SHE WILL THREATEN YOU IN STOPING YOUR MEDICATION IF YOU DONT RENEWED THEM EVERY MONTH EVEN IF YOU STILL HAVE SOME FROM THE PREVIOUS MONTH. SHE WILL PUT DOWN FALSE INFORMATION ON YOUR REPORTS HOW THIS PERSON BECAME AN DOCTOR IS UNBELIEVABLE ITS THE WORST CLINIC I HAVE BEEN IN MY LIFE. VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL THEY ALSO TRY TO PUT WORDS INTO YOU MOUTH

Wonderful doctor. Spent time listening to my very complicated history, helped in all ways that she could. Caring, empathic. Should be a role model for others.

I was treated like a criminal as soon as I walked in the door. I am a senior that uses a walker. It felt more like I was in a police station than a doctors office. My small bag that I had with me was taken away from me without my permission. Then the assistant asked me all these questions and when she didn't like the answers she grilled me like she didn't believe me. I have suffered from chronic pain for years. Then Dr.(I use the word loosely) Kapoor came in and it was the same thing. She grilled me & REPEATEDLY questioned weather my family did drugs????? Which is a joke since my family wouldn't even take an aspirin and no alcohol was ever in our home. When I told her I didn't want the injections because they didn't work for me. She stopped and looked me right in the eye and said "What do you want from me?" I came to her for help and options and she's asking me??? She then said she wanted to take me off of my pain medication. I have been using it for many years only as needed… and as little as possible. The last script lasted me over a year. She said she didn't believe me and where did I get more pills??? It was ridiculous. I have never been treated this way in the many long years I have been suffering with chronic pain. At that point I broke into tears. Dr. Kapoor brought two other people in the office and they all just stood there and watched. Then Dr Kapoor said she would put a recommendation to a knee surgeon in my bag and I was told I could leave when I wanted to. I picked up my bag on the way out. No one said anything not even the woman who held the door for me. Not even a good by. I got in my car and the recommendation for a knee surgeon wasn't in my bag. I called to get it the next day (a Friday) and repeatedly got an answering service and no call back. Do not go here. It is a traumatic experience.

I had the misfortune of being this nut case's patient. Unprofessional, irrational, liar; her own voice is all she heard or cared to hear, not interested in treating patient just milking the insurance companies for surgical procedures she forces you to have while admittingly knowing MRI showed condition would not respond to her blocking injections. Ruined relationship's with referring physician and family physician with LIES that she will treat patient, then withdraws that commitment leaving patient without any physician for pain treatment, knowing patient no longer has a physician she withdraws pain medication she was going to treat secondary symptoms with and boasts that she did this because you would not have any surgical procedures done. Childish decisions directed to hurt, most strangers have more compassion than this MD, do yourself a favor don't let her become a part of you life, if you already have RUN.

Rude. would not listen even for the 3 minutes she was there. . charged fro things not done.

Dr. Kapoor is a very caring and knowledgable Doctor ! She has helped me control my back and leg pain and she goes above and beyond to help her patients... I put my trust in her completely!
