Dr. Shu-Jane Shen, MD

Shu-Jane Shen, MD, PhD, is a member of the Associate Staff in the Regional Radiology Department of Cleveland Clinic, serving Lakewood and Lutheran Hospitals. She has been with Cleveland Clinic since 1999. Previously, she was Medical Director, Ultrasound Division, at Allen Memorial Hospital and in practice with General Diagnostic Radiologists at the Oberlin Clinic and Allen Memorial Hospital. Dr. Shen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy from National Taiwan University in Taipei in 1977 and her doctorate in medicinal chemistry from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Ind., in 1982. She received her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland in 1990. She served her residency in the Department of Radiology at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland from 1990 to 1994, then completed a fellowship in body imaging at University Hospitals of Cleveland. Dr. Shens academic awards and honors include the Ray A. and Robert L. Kroc Award, given in …1990 for an outstanding research project in the area of diabetes and endocrine-related disease; an individual national research service award from the National Institutes of Child Health and Human Development in 1986; and a postdoctoral fellowship developmental biology training grant from the National Institutes of Health in 1984.
