Dr. Shubhada V Jagasia, MD

I have been a patient of Dr Jagasia for several years. She is compassionate, knows her field of medicine, and is always willing to answer any questions. I couldn't ask for a better physician.

I came to this office extremely nervous and hoping to gain some understanding of this disease. I left more confused than I came. I did not receive useful information about my care. It was like a train wreck. I was just a number and not a person especially to the staff. Dr. Jagasia was even less informative and did not answer my questions. They were more concerned with my feet than my disease or educating me about the disease. I asked about cost and no one could help me there either. 5 hours of nothing. I still don't know anything.

I had a long struggle with a thyroid problem. Dr. Jagasia had a psychiatric resident who was doing an endo rotation interview me and came in only at the end to plan a thyroid level blood test. She hadn't read my record because I had the test a few days before in preparation for this visit. She was friendly but not particularly interested in me or sympathetic. I know she sees a lot of people who aren't themselves because their thyroid levels are off and I didn't expect her to treat me like mine was a mental problem. When my pcp finally figured out the proper dose, I was back to normal and feeling fine. I am glad others on here have had better experiences with her. I'm sure mine was just a fluke.

Dr. Jagasia is a wonderful doctor. She was very attentive to me and worked dilligently to fix my thyroid problem. I could not speak more highly about her. I am a Registered Nurse and have dealt with many doctors. She is top-notch.
