Dr. Shubi Adya Shakti, MD

I saw Dr. Shubi mukatira for several years. When it was time for each appointment I could not sleep for 2 days before. I was petrified to see her. It all depended on her mood as to how bad she treated me. I am a therapist myself and would NEVER recommend her. She used the scare tactic to get me, and I suspect others, to bow in submission with the threat of not seeing me again. I think she’s dangerous. PLEASE BEWARE

This Dr. and her NP only care about your co-payment and billing the insurance company. They will load you up with meds, then refuse to refill them unless you come in to see them monthly. Some of the meds they refuse to re-fill cannot be stopped cold turkey, but again, they are more interested in the money than they are the patient. Save yourself the headache and find another Dr.

Did not spend any time at all listening to symptoms or concerns. Prescribed one of the most expensive drugs out there without any concern about patients costs. Left knowing that the insurance money was all that really mattered to her. Don't expect a lot of compassion unless you file a complaint against her.
