My intake with Jafar was horrible experience talks to you condescending, then tells you trust me this is how it works I have 30 years experience, well it’s his show. In the beginning before I took the medication he prescribed I did bloodwork and urine test. A day before my appointment I emailed him letting him know the medication isn’t effective he calls me 5 minutes after telling me he feels I don’t like him ect. I let him talk then I tell him purpose of the email so we can have a productive appointment the next day. From there everything went south. At my appointment he recommended another medication, that had same side effects as previously prescribed medication. I suffer from chronic pain can’t exercise vigorously. I wasn’t happy with medication he offered then accuse me of doing drugs and to get tested, I was blown away I didn’t know we had to drug test to receive adequate mental health treatment. The medication he had previously prescribed me when I let him know the combination… wasn’t working he didn’t tell me you can’t stop cold turkey you must stop gradually. I went through the worst withdrawal symptoms. When his name is brought up my anxiety raises, when he supposed to help with that problem. My opinion is he shouldn’t be working at Kaiser and I highly don’t recommend this doctor what so ever.

Dr. Jafar does not abide by his own rules of conduct. He seeks and fabricates a story to make his patient seem untrustworthy. Will gladly push antipsychotics onto you.
