Dr. Shuja Yousuf, MD

So far I would not recommend this doctor. He does not LISTEN to his patients. I went to him for a second opinion since my first doctor was not helping and I got no where. I supposedly have nutcracker esophagus which is a structural abnormality and I’m having to self medicate with a calcium channel blocker which is not even prescribed to me for the severe chest and back pain. It’s a sad day when you cannot even get a prescription for a CCB for pain which is what is recommended for that disease process.

I just fail to understand why the Dr had me drive all the way from Canton to tell me the SAME thing he told me after the procedure. Other than that, I wam quite satisfied with everything. By the way, I have been locked out of my Gmail account. So until I set up another email account, maybe use my phone text.

I had a great experience ,on my 1st visit with dr. Yousef. His staff was awesome. His secretary, nurse and medical trainee was awesome. I left the office feeling gooood. Takes all the time necessary to evaluate and give a diagnosis of your problem. He researches prior records of past visits to other doctors and hospitalizations to better understand your medical history. He is one of the very few doctors that I have been to that is that detailed. After I had a test (outpatient type) Dr. Yousef called me personally to go over the results with me. That's a first for for me.
