I went to Dr Shah a few times and realize this was a terrible mistake. The 1st time I appreciated her conservative approach. The 2nd time she was aggressive and insisted on removing 3 cavities (1 of which was bothering me). She would not numb me at first and the pain was terrible. Finally she numbed me a little but I could still feel everything and for 30 mins I was in pain. She seemed to tire of me and I felt shut down and dismissed. She made me feel unimportant and honestly ridiculous in my pain. The next several weeks I came back due to pain and got the message from her she didn’t believe me. She couldn’t figure out why or where it was coming from. After 4 visits and not being able to chew on my left side for 2 months I found another dentist who was amazing. He redid the filling she had done and found she had fractured part of my tooth underneath and sealed it. He then dealt with the extreme sensitivity in my other teeth from the fillings she did. Caution! I’m glad I have relief.

Shweta Shah, DDS treated my husband for dental implants. My husband has dental insurance, but was charged cash by her at an egregious rate for 6 implants with 4 implants actually performed (she created a bill with extra charges to still amount to the original quoted price for 6 implants). After the implants were placed my husband went through years of pain and suffering with no liability taken by Shah, DDS. One of the implants was placed too deep, piercing a sinus causing chronic infections. Another continuously fell out and resulted in pain with each reimplantation. She could not perform a proper root canal to improve the pain symptoms experienced by my husband, which was eventually resolved by proper management through another local endodontist. She has told may husband directly that these egregious prices were to "pay for [her] kid's college tuition." It's sad to see another South Asian healthcare provider defrauding trusting immigrant Indians in America. I would be extremely… cautious of her practices and be quick to say no to paying cash payments for any of her treatments. I wish I could take back each and every day that my husband had to swallow pain killers just to have a small bite of food or the countless nights he stayed up in bed writhing in pain. I truly hope this message reaches the right people before they end up in the same position. After 2.5 years and an incomplete promise, she still harasses us for the final payment.
