Dr. Purswani is a wonderful pain management doctor, he is compassionate and caring and really knows how to make it better. He has a wonderful staff Lucy and Cynthia and Tina from his old office are remarkable they never forget who you are and they take really good care of you, they always make you feel like family, he is the best!

I have a 30 year history of back myelograms, discograms, surgeries, nerve blocks & setbacks. In that time I have been under the care of many physicians . Dr. Purswani stands out among them. He goes the extra mile. and cares about not only my back issues, but my entire well being . I am so happy to have him !

Dr. Shyam S Purswani is a great pain doctor! I didn’t know what I was missing. I have been to so many different pain doctors in ten years. Most of them put me on massive, opiate pain relievers and then wondered why I had trouble working or why I was unhappy with my life. Other doctors and offices treated me like I was an inconvenience. I was just another in a long line of patients to be seen that day. I felt judged. Once I would see a doctor, they would take as little time as possible with me. Visits felt rushed and pain medication seemed to be an afterthought, though one office gave me a urine test before each visit. Dr. Purswani is the pain doctor I didn’t know I could get. He accepted me as a new patient after the office staff of my last doctor dropped me without warning. Purswani and his nurse, Lucy, fixed up the administrative problems I had with that office to the best of their ability. Purswani and Lucy talk to me and take the time to know what my problems are.… Purswani offered suggestions (which I intend to follow, when I am able) to help repair my body so that my pain level is minimized. Purswani talked with me about the different medications I was currently on and has worked with me to change them to medications that would work better for me. So far, I am beyond happy that I am finally seeing a doctor that is interested in treating me, the patient, and not just my pain. During one visit, he even noticed that my neuropathic foot was very swollen and he directed me to see my PCP right away. It turned out that I have serious Gout in that foot; I am on a new medication to help with that. I am very grateful for Dr. Purswani catching this affliction before things got worse; I had thought it was no big deal as I had issues with this foot for almost a decade up until now. Do yourself a favor and see Dr. Purswani. He is kind, knowledgeable and very interested in helping the patient rather than keep them hooked on serious and expensive medication that may be doing the patient more harm than good.

I've been going to Dr. Purswani for the past six years, I would be in terrible pain if it was not for his care, kindness, and patients. Dr Purswani helped me get my life and sanity back. The injuries sustained during my Air Force career required multiple surgeries to to repair major lumbar disc and joints. I was left with chronic pain that was unbearable. The military sent me "off base" for medical care after several years of unsucessful pain management attempts.
