If you go to this MD or any other spine surgeon, I encourage you to get multiple opinions. Just because there are 5 stars by MDs name doesn’t mean they have the right answer for you! They might not have studied everything or just have a different solution . Also might have to do with Socio economics. Lower insurances might not cover what is called Endoscopic , ADR, but try to search everything you can. If you have the lowest insurance, I encourage you to get list of surgeons even if they are not in your group. Ones who have done multiple ADR surgeries, and try to do newer techniques. Get referrals and read about them online. If need be switch. Some of the best hospitals have teaching MDs who might take lower insurances. I am not a medical professional but did not research enough early on. This surgeon told me no surgery could help me. If you are having severe spine issues don’t wait too long, while no one wants surgery, waiting too long can cause more problems.
