What is Sleep/Sedation Dentistry?
Oral Conscious Sedation is a minimally depressed level of consciousness which is produced by oral medications that retain the patient's ability to independently maintain an open airway.

Is Sleep Dentistry Safe?
Dr. Solomon is highly experienced at administering the customized oral sedation elements that will allow each individual patient to safely and effectively sleep though the dental procedure.  He is trained to monitor oxygenation, ventilation, circulation and temperature of the patient during the procedure to ensure patient safety.  He has studied guidelines provided by the American Society of Anesthesiology: Practice Guidelines for Sedation and Analgesia by Non-Anesthesiologists.  His area of expertise is recognized by the:
JC (Joint Commission), AAAHC (Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care), and the AAAASF (American Association of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities)
Infection control in also very important to us.  To protect our patients and ourselves, we strictly maintain sterilization and cross contamination processes using standards recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
