Dr. Sidat Michael Kumaratne, MD

Dr. Kumaratne is one of the best doctors I've ever encountered in my life and he has my highest recommendation. He truly cares about all his patients & he goes above & beyond what any doctor has, not just for me but for all his patients. He is extremely intelligent, compassionate and kind and if he doesn't know the answer to something, he will find out. He's also not to prideful to tell you to get a 2nd opinion. He will personally call you back if you have concerns or he will call you with any he has. He is extremely attentive & very thorough. I have to bring my 4 year old with me from time to time and he never makes it feel like an inconvenience. His staff or himself will either put on netflix for him, let him play with toys or allow him to be in the room with me. He truly is one of a kind and I'm grateful to have him as a doctor. The only "downside" is sometimes you will wait a while in the waiting room but that's b/c of the attention he gives his patients so it's worth it to me.

The first time I saw him I was nervous because anytime you go to a new doctor you don’t know what to expect so.. he was amazing. I love that he says you can call him whenever and explains everything to you. Definitely wish I could see him my whole pregnancy he’s amazing and the receptionist is amazing also.

I came to dr. Kumarantne after not receiving gyn care for several years and having a medical problem. Dr. K’s office was able to fit me in the same day and addressed all of my concerns even keeping the office open longer. He has personally called me to see how I was feeling and genuinely had concern for his patients. He is also incredibly knowledgeable and patient.

This dr is great. went for my annual exam, he really listens. I felt like I was his only patient. He is very thorough, goes over everything, and explains everything in detail. He's a really nice guy, very friendly and gentle. Now I won't go to anyone else!

I was worried about my visit, but he put me at ease. He's very gentle, professional and takes his time. He listened to all of my concerns and gave me a lot of information about my options. I'll never go to anyone else. His office staff was friendly and courteous.

He performed the surgery on my fallopian tube and ovaries and it was a success! He took his time to explain in detail the procedure, eased my nervousness, and I felt confident that he knew what to do surgically. I will recommend him to my family and friends. One more thing! He called me to see how I was feeling after the surgery. That's what I like about his patient care. He takes his time with you!!!!
