Dr. Sidney Alderman Daffin III, MD

This was by far the WORST care I’ve ever received and I’ve gotten healthcare from all around the world. First every appointment I had to wait over an hour in the waiting room to see him. The issue I want to warn people about is this. I had a drug interaction that I called the office about because the effects were mild at the time. The receptionist was less than caring when I called and asked to speak to my doctor or a nurse about it. She told me they were busy and the doctor said I needed to come in. Hours passed as I waited for my appointment. Headed to the doctor feeling worse and worse. Checked in. Again the receptionist didn’t even look up from her desk. Handed me a clipboard and told me to have a seat. Filled out the paper work and waited 30 minutes past my appt time to ask when I would be seen. At the 1 hour mark my husband went to the desk to let them know I was looking very pale and was starting to shake. The receptionist again told us that the doctor was busy and… he would get to us when he was done. I began to feel worse and worse, tingling in my hands and arms. At the 1.5 hour mark past my appt I was in the waiting room surrounded by other patients trying to comfort me and screaming for the doctor. He slowly dragged his walker down the hallway to ask me what was wrong. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?! At this point I’m terrified because I can’t move. My husband was begging for the doctor to help me. He looks my husband dead in the eyes and says “ well these things can happen” My husband called 911 after asking the doctors office to do it on three separate times while trying to attend to me. My husband was screaming at the receptionist to call 911 and she just SAT there. When I got to the ER, my potassium and sugar were extremely low and was told I was a few minutes away from a stroke. It was due from the drugs prescribed to me. Dr. Daffin, May have a long standing relationship with elderly patients. But I am a 35 year old female who almost died in his waiting room. This man and his office should not be practicing anymore. This is the absolute WORST healthcare I’ve ever received.

My mother has been seeing Dr. Daffin for a long time. He has such compassion and listens carefully to my mother. His physical assessment is very hands on and comprehensive. He pays attention to detail and is an excellent physician. We would recommend him very much.

IF YOU NEED A HEAD TO TOE DOCTOR WHO WILL TAKE THERE TIME, LISTEN TO YOU AND HELP YOU GET BETTER THAN THIS IS YOUR DOCTOR.

He listens to your problems. Spends a long time getting all the facts & writes them all down. Not an in & out in 5 minutes Doctor. You can tell him how U feel, he gives you that time, then treats you for all your problems A very caring man. An honor to be his patient. Works way too many hours after his day, he treats people at one of the free clinics every so often. God Bless Him
