Dr. Sidney Kay Simonian, DO

Last year in 2022 I noticed a dimness in my right eye. I was very concerned, but Dr. Simonian gave me hope for a cure. She referred me to a top notch retina specialist who, Dr. Randhawa, and that brought the brightness back to my eye, but my eyesight was was still blurry. Today she did a cataract surgery on my eye, and though the I’m looking through a clear plastic taped over my eye I’m seeing through that eye with way more clarity than what I’ve had in a year. I am so grateful for her guidance through this very troubling time in my life. Words cannot express how relieved I am to see better again! Thank you so much Dr. Simonian!

I have been a patient of Dr. Simonian for over 10 years. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Simonian and her staff. They always take the time to answer all of my questions. I appreciated that. Dr. Simonian has a conservative approach on my last visit there was a borderline issue which could be confirmed or ruled out by a specialized test. As I was there for a vision exam an not a medical exam and I have been a long time patient Dr. Simonian made me a generous offer. If there was an issue we would run the test thru insurance. If there was not an issue and she was being overly conservative then there would be no charge. The test was negative and there was no charge. I have always appreciated Dr. Simonian going the extra step to insure the best result for the patient. There is often a wait past the scheduled time but when she is with you she does not rush you and spends all the time needed. I am willing to handle a wait for that level of care.

Cannot say enough about her and her staff. Terrible experience with another doctor. Believe he misdiagnosed and put me through a needless procedure.

Dr. Simonian and her staff were very courteous. They really took the time to answer all of my questions and I appreciated that.

I need to have eye exams every year because I'm diabetic. Last year, Dr. Simonian found a problem with my optic nerves, and I had to have further testing and see a Neurologist. This year, the problem is gone, and my eye exam went well. She explained everything to me, and her technician did a refraction on me and her optician helped me find glasses that fit my face and features best. Her staff is outstanding, and so is she! Everyone is so kind, including the doctor. I look forward to our visits.

My exam was rushed and incomplete. She simply ignored the results of her assistant's very-well-done refraction (not included in the price of the exam, I had to pay extra)- she proceeded to write an eyeglass prescription that was much too weak. When I pointed out that I cannot legally drive a car wearing them, she dismissed my concerns, insisting that the prescription was jsut fine. Apparently she has little interest in public safety or the welfare of her patients. I felt completely cheated out of $350. I do not recommend her.
