Excellent doctor for high risk pregnancies

I am in my 30s and this is the worst dr. appointment and am about to make an official complaint to the hospital. After a great NT Scan (diagnostic ultrasound that looks for issues), Dr. Rotmensch insisted that I have a genetic discussion even though I deliberately declined it in advance. He told me that because of my age I have to have a CVS or Amnio to ensure that the baby is ok. Facts: All tests for the baby are great My current child is perfectly health There are no genetic disorders in the family history I declined the genetic discussion and he gave his recommendation anyway These procedures can cause miscarriage I have had multiple miscarriages very early in pregnancy So you can see how his advice had a poor judgment and is insensitive to my history with miscarriages. My husband and I are very upset from our visit and he spent zero time telling us why our NT scan was great (just flashed a piece of paper generated by the computer with the good numbers) and cold… heartedly spent all his time instead giving me a bad advice against my consent.

There was a wait to see him but it was well worth it. He looked at our previous record carefully, took the time to talk to us, did not make us feel like we should stop asking questions after sometime and leave. Took a thorough medical history. Was very knowledgeable and promp to answer even with questions related to rare diseases. He took the time to look at the MRI/ USG we had on a CD himself and gave us adiagnosis/ answer to some questions our OBGYN or perinatologist could not answer ( we lost our baby at 7 months, it had been a mystery why but he solved it). He took interest and went in depth with our case as much as me and my husband did. My husband is a physician and myself a dentist and we were thoroughly impressed by him. We would totally recommend him to anyone.

I have been under the care of Professor Rotmensch during my post in Israel, and I consider myself very very lucky to have had him as my doctor. He has been the best care provider I have ever met: most accurate in diagnosing, in surgery, during the hospital stay, and after surgery. I am most convinced I would have not made it through were it not for Professor Rotmensch, and I shall be forever deeply grateful to him. I have yet to find in my two years of consultations, office visits, hospital tests in New York, someone as excellent both profesionally and humanely, as Professor Rotmensch.
