Dr. Silvia Maria Velasquez, MD

Dr. Silvia is a warm and friendly doctor. She listens to all you have to say. Then she explains everything that is going on and what she is going to do. She worked on my Crohn's infection and I got well with medicine and no surgery! Dr Silvia has a vast knowledge of medicine and how to apply it for infections. I have never seen so many bags , with connected bags that the nurses call cocktails in all my life! But they worked! Dr Silvia is a blessing, five stars from me! M Oberst

The office had already seen him and he was in bad shape. Extreme pain, very weak and no energy. Doctor ordered blood tests. Blood tests came back a week later, very alarming. Office refused to schedule him for 10 days. He died waiting for that appointment. I called every day asking that he be moved up stating he was getting sicker. No sorry, no cancelations. He died in the hospital on the day of his scheduled appointment.

I had a wonderful experience with this Dr. She really took her time with me and got me in to see the correct specialist the very next day. I appreciated how caring she was.

Dr. Velasquez saved my life when I was near death. I have never met a kinder, more caring doctor in my life. I have had lung disease since birth and had a lot of experience with doctors. Dr. Velasquez is so nice and caring, I cannot think of enough superlatives to describe her. She is meant to be a doctor as her bedside manner is perfectly suited for patients. I have never met a doctor so right for her chosen profession.

I had an appointment with Silvia Velasquez in IMA. She was the coldest doctor that I ever had to deal with. She didn't want to get close to me to check me, like she was afraid of me. I am an old lady, and I went very clean, so there was no reason for been afraid of me or to see me like I am repulsive, especially when you consider her line of work. She has no personality at all and does not look like she cares or enjoys her job. Really sad! Dont waste your time going to see her!
