Dr. Sima Ashraf Asadi, MD

Dr. Asadi had been my childrens doctor for over 10 years. I trusted her and have always took what advice was given. I am not certain what has happen to her since COVID has irrupted, but today I took my daughter to see her due to anxiety, headache and attacks brought on by a chronic illness she has a a change in the home. Dr. Asadi got so upset over my phone ringing and I dismissed the call but because my daughter stated she wanted to see who was calling…. Dr. Asadi went off on her. She got into my daughters face pointing her finger and calling her a little manipulator she went on to tell her there was nothing wrong with her other than being a manipulator and if she wanted to she could prescribe her 2or 3 medications but she won’t or she could have her poked and prided with 30 shots or could have a garden hose shoved up her rear end. I don’t know what happen to Dr. Asadi or why she felt it was necessary to treat a child a little girl that way but, NO unacceptable behavior. I think… COVID has corrupted her mind and she blames COVID on the issues instead of listening. My family will never go there again!

Her staff really needs to learn how to be welcoming. Dr Asadi herself seems to determined to diagnose everything on her own when sometimes she needs to refer to specialists. She is very stubborn when it comes to a specialist referral. After 10 months and my son still not rolling or sitting she finally decided to have him tested. Unfortunately the test she recommended was something he did when he was a month old and was already in his file. She had be notified that he was in the infant program and had been getting reports along the way. It was extremely irritating to receive a call from the program wondering why the physician was re submitting the same testing. She is not on top of her game. I wasted 10 months there but transferred to an amazing Dr. who has since helped my son with specialists and therapy. He is thriving, but no thanks to Asadi.

An all around excellent choice for my grand-children in all respects.

I had picked Dr Asadi well before my daughter was born. When she was born, she showed features of DS and Dr Asadi never once said how sorry she was or made my daughter seem less than perfect. She got results, then set me up with a ton of books and papers to help me help my daughter. I come from out of town to continue to see her because she is such a great Dr. She always remembers us when we see her and interacts with mydaughter as much as she does with me. She even calls to check up with her after a sick kid appt. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

she is an easy going person, never push me or my kid to take anything.. she'll wait until his condition really needs meds.. and i'm down for that i hate meds.. she even speaks spanish to me witch i appriciate specially when i know a lot of her patients dont speak english.. she is always available if there is an emergency and i'm surprise cuz she is a very busy dr.. but i'm glad she can always take my kid when is needed

I work with Dr. Asadi at the hospital and I take my own children to see her. She is the greatest! Merced is VERY lucky to have her :)
