Dr. Sima Kalika, DO

She was only really nice the first two times I had seen her, which makes sense. They never forwarded critical medical information ...the other review was right, that receptionist was rude! The younger girl was better but their overall policies were bad (they don’t keep digital records either). Her referrals were always other Eastern European doctors or her friends (do your own research on specialists). Her husband is a grumpy old man to whom I had explain that I Wore Invisalign retainers when he asked what was in my mouth. The nicest was probably the nurse Veronica but she would take frequent smoke breaks and you can smell the smoke on her as she took your blood pressure. I have a completely different and better experience with my current PCP office (I don’t have to call a million times for sonogram referrals or anything). So happy to be done with this place!

When I would get really sick, it was worth my time to go to Urgent Care than go to her. Things weren't well explained and she failed to follow up on critical labs. I've had an overall hard time arranging anything with this office and would highly recommend looking elsewhere.

Dr. Kalika is the best !

Dr. Sima, as everyone calls her, is a very friendly person and a very competent doctor. I have been a patient of hers since I found her listed on my health insurance website and her clinic turned out to be very close to my house. That alone would not have kept me there, of course, but the all around atmosphere of the clinic and the competency of all of the staff that has treated me - her husband is an otolaryngologist, which is great for me, as I suffer from seasonal bouts of sinusitis, the physical therapist is quite proficient and the nurses are all very pleasant ladies that get your blood out with minimal pain - has remained at a high level throughout the 8 or so years I have been using their services. If you live in the 11218 area, I would highly recommend that you try Dr. Kalika as your Principal Care Physician.
