Dr. Simiao Li-Sauerwine, MD

I visited OSU ER on a weekend several months ago. I had skin infection on my face and a swollen eyelid. After waiting for a few hours without seeing any doctor coming, Dr. Li walked in with a stern look, telling me she was an ER supersivor and an eye doctor was coming. Then she quickly turned around and walked out without seeing me in her eyes. Without receiving proper care from her and eye doctors who came later, my medical condition deteriorated quickly with my eye highly sensitive to light, a lot of tearing, unable to see anything (later with double vision), and difficult drive and work for two months. Under another eye doctor's care, my eye took several months to recover with continued medication. After the ER visit, Dr. Li sent me a bill to charge several hundred dollars for her professional service! She was doing her adminstrative job and did not provide any necessary professional care to me. I think she has an ethical issue.
