A joke. Refused to see me after being referred by a doctor

I waited over 1.5 hours for an appointment that took under 10 minutes. He prescribed me an antipsychotic that would've worsened an existing medical condition that he was well aware of, therefore putting me in danger. I had already stated to him that under no circumstances would I take another antipsychotic again, but apparently listening isn't a strong suit of his. After I called to say I would no longer be seeing him (kept it polite and said "it's not going to work out"), I was sent a letter stating he would no longer see me due to noncompliance with treatment. That was the intended effect, so I guess he was bored and wanted to write a "no, u!" letter. Don't waste your time; find a psychiatrist who will actually listen and will respect your choices of treatment.

Please do yourself a favor and not go to this rotten doctor. I had gone to him for years and was treated like some dog off the street. Because of Covid I had lost my job and my insurance. I asked him for a prescription of my meds for two weeks until my new insurance kicked in and he said no. So I started crying in the lobby and one of the receptionist told him. Because I was crying he refused to see me anymore?? I was in the middle of a total mental breakdown! I had asked to see a therapist twice and he said he would set me up with one and never did. I promise you take your money somewhere else because this man does not care!

When I finally decided to give in and ask for help, I was very apprehensive about going to a stranger and discussing my problems. But, Dr. Simon McClure made me feel very at ease. He looked me in the eye and paid attention to what I was saying. He then discussed medications and how they’re would help. He was very optimistic about being a able to help me with my problems. That was a month ago today and I’m starting to feel like myself again. I’m so grateful to my primary doctor, Dr. Lefferage Robbins and to Dr. McClure for the wonderful HELP that I’ve received.

Just had my appointment with my new doctor and as always I felt comfort being there and being able to connect with a doctor and them understand me and what’s going on and what I’ve been through, Dr. McClure is an amazing doctor even though I just had my first appointment with him he took time understanding me and issues I deal with and it felt relieving being able to talk to him it makes you feel like you’re cared about when you have someone that will listen and talk to you about things that can be hard healing from and I look forward to my next appointment, I highly recommend Dr.Mcclure to others and will recommend him to anyone needing a good caring doctor who cares about you and your well being, if I could give 10 stars I defiantly would! Thank you so much Dr. McClure for being my new doctor I feel like a big pressure has been lifted off of me

Over prescribed medication to the point where the prescriptions were questioned by the pharmacist. Slowly increasing the dosage over time- in my opinion- to assure return business. I was personally informed by him to put the written prescription in my purse before leaving his office. He said sometimes people ( drug addicts) were in the parking lot looking for someone with a prescription in hand! During my last visit I started to question the amount of drugs being given. A letter in the mail was received shortly thereafter terminating the dr/patient relationship ??

Seems like the medication he gave me is working .

He doesn't care for his patients like he should. He made fun of my weight by telling me to "lay off the doughnuts" and basically didn't listen to me about my anxiety OR depression. He is inconsiderate and rude.
