I lost all feelings in my legs. She paralyzed me for life. I have a lawsuit in progress with her and hospital. Run while you can because if not you will never be able to walk.

Went to her with herniated disc and a symptom of weak shoulder that lasted already for 10 days and really bothered me. I couldn’t move my hand up and to the sides because herniation affected my nerve . Within 30 seconds ! Of our conversation she said I must consider a surgery ASAP ! Within next few days and asked me where on my neck do I want to do a cut in front or on the back of neck .. she scared my husband who was there with me so much , that he said it doesn’t matter where the cut will be , and how big the scar will he if I need this done ASAP then everything else is not important . She also confirmed to him that what I have has a danger for me staying with unfunctional hand ( i am 25) . And this” surgery has to be done in a timely fashion “quote Thanks God I was able to do appointment to other neurosurgeon and I didn’t trust her right away , I went to Mount Sinai and finished a pack of pills with steroids . Boom in 5 days ! I am completely fine and another doctor is telling… me that I don’t need even injections , not talking about a surgery . Anyway , herniation stays with you , although there is no way I will run to do a surgery on my neck “in a timely fashion “ . I didn’t want to write this review , although her office called me to confirm prep for my surgery .. after 4 weeks ! Of my visit . Although during the visit she said , that the surgery authorization will be done by her office and after that never called me ...?? For 4 weeks. I am sure dr Betchen is a great surgeon . But I am thankful she wasn’t trustworthy to me , just stressful ! Wish everyone well !

I had surgery with her ,before surgery she was very good after she did surgery she came today with bad behavior and very aggressive ,she hurt my feeling and she changed her promised to me she lied to me and she told me i don't have time for you i can't give you any hope, i hope you not get worse she surprised me i cry front of her she said do you want me hold your hand all day and i give you hope and she laugh at me with her stuff no mercy no considerations for my situation I'm handicap and she did spine surgery she very bad doctor she taken what she want from insurance company and after surgery she said no grantee for this surgery,so why you did it ?and broke my bone and cut my back . she lie about every thing ,and she dis charge me from hospital after 2 days ,,,don't go to her ever she nice until she convenience you to do surgery and after that you gonna see different person like she doesn't know you she destroyed me completely

She's not only a better doctor than a male but she has a genuine caring attitude

Very regimental. Does not want to take questions other than her field of expertise even though the question(s) are within the scope of her profession. Bedside manner needs polsihing!

She saved me from paralysis. I hope she is still a ghi provider. I might need her help
