Dr. Simone Bilkis Piraino, MD

No bed side manner. Office did not fax over order for the 3 hours glucose testing like they said they would so when I show up to the lab to get it done at 7AM after just working the overnight shift they said they haven’t received the fax. I then phoned the on call doctor which was Simone Piraino. She proceeded to say in the rudest tone that “I’m at home and can’t do anything about it and wait till 8:30AM.” But even if the office were to fax the order at exactly 8:30AM by the time I finish the test I will have gone almost 12 hours with nothing to eat or drink while being 6 and a half months pregnant. If it wasn’t something she could do then fine but there is a way to speak with people. In the past with office visits she has always been abrupt and cold, I have tried to dismiss it as having a bad day or being busy but now I am fed up.

Dr Piraino listens to what you are saying and offers full explanations on all procedures. She has the best bedside manner and very courteous.

I just love Dr Piraino. She made me feel at ease.
