Terrible experience. She had me switch from an SSRI to a serotonin modulator when all I wanted was hydroxyzine or something to help me with my panic attacks (reason why I’m on medication). I am experiencing severe withdrawal symptoms following her instructions. Diarrhea, brain zaps, irritability, headaches, nausea, and now even suicidal ideation. I know you’re not supposed to google your symptoms but I found out you have to gradually reduce the SSRI while also starting a slow gradual dose of the serotonin modulator and work up to desired dose. Mrs. Stewart decided to have me quit SSRI cold turkey and just pop the serotonin modulator like they’re M&Ms. Been doing this for five days. Left a phone message with village medical (whoever answers their number is also a complete joke, when I told him my symptoms he listed it back to me and said I was “feeling crazy”. Not what I said). No response, considering consulting urgent care if it’s safe to just go back to my old SSRI. So sad.… Never seeing these “practitioners” again. Only care about $ instead of a patients wellbeing (Well I guess that’s the US healthcare industry for you).
