Dr. Sina Firouzi, MD

I called to schedule an appt to visit my family physician Dr Timothy Huston and was told he was booked solid so perhaps I could see the on call dr. However, no one informed me that the dr was not a provider for Blue Cross Medicare Advantage Plan. That is essential for people with Medicare Advantage coverage. I am going to open up a claim with my insurance carrier so that in the future the front desk advises you that the dr you are seeing is based in Fullerton and although he is working at Mission Heritage Medical Group he is not a provider for my insurance. In the future I will not consent to seeing any physician in that group other than Dr Timothy Huston!

My primary Dr. was not available to see me on a short notice appointment and I was very pleased to have met Dr S. Firouzi on my visit. He was courteous, kind, caring and listened to me without rushing me. He was knowledgeable about my health issue and although wasn't able to treat the problem he gladly referred me to a specialist who would be able to help. I would see him again without question.

Dr. Firouzi is a caring doctor. He spends time to listen to you and address your concerns.

Doctor took time to understand the issue and only then proposed solutions. He even recommended me to look at alternate medical practices even though it meant he would not be consulting for me, so he truly cares about his patients and is definitely not money-minded. Would surely recommend him.
