Dr. Sina Nikayin, M.D. is an Interventional Psychiatrist and the founder of Rumi Mind Health, where he provides quality mental health care to patients in the Westport, CT area. Additionally, he also provides telehealth services to patients in the state of Connecticut. 

At Rumi Mind Health, an outpatient, comprehensive mental health care clinic specializing in interventional psychiatry, Dr. Nikayin and his staff provide evidence-based care using innovative modalities, ensuring a compassionate and personalized approach.

Rumi Mind Health’s name is inspired by the 13th-century Persian poet and mystic Jalāl al-Dīn Rūmī; a symbol of inner healing, spiritual insight, and the transformative power of love and presence.

Dr. Nikayin completed his psychiatry residency at Yale University, …where he spent the last year of his training as the chief resident of interventional psychiatry, Dr. Nikayin joined the faculty at the Yale School of Medicine as an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry. Since then, Dr. Nikayin has completed tens of thousands of interventional psychiatric treatments on thousands of patients with the most challenging and treatment resistant disorders at Yale New Haven Hospital. He continues to provide care to patients at Yale New Haven Hospital as a Assistant Professor Adjunct of Psychiatry.

As an internationally recognized interventional psychiatrist with years of experience in diagnosing and treating mood disorders, and other treatment-resistant issues, Dr. Nikayin is happy to put his expertise to use treating new patients.
