Dr. Sinda Mein

Dr. Mein dismissed my debilitating diarrhea as IBS worsened by anxiety. She neglected to do a colonoscopy, and she didn’t follow up with me even though I told her my symptoms weren’t going away. Two years of suffering and weight loss later, I’ve finally been diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. I was so embarrassed about being treated as if my symptoms were partly psychosomatic that I didn’t seek care for a long time after seeing Dr. Mein.

She nailed the problem the first visit, tailored her treatment the second visit. The time she spent and her interest in my problem was genuine, professional and way beyond a 15 minute office visit. I can recommend her without reservation.

Dr. Mein is an EXCELLENT Gastroenterologist. I recently experienced severe abdominal pain that resulted in a diagnosis of diverticulitis. I was scared and as an extreme type A assumed the worse. I had a CT scan and colonoscopy to determine the prognosis. Dr. Mein was very helpful throughout the entire process. Clinically she is on top of her game and spent the time with me to discuss my options. If you are looking for the best GI doctor you should consider Dr. Mein.

I have found Dr. Mein exceptional in her attentiveness and determination to solve medical problems. She is friendly, easy to talk to, but thoroughly professional and very knowledgeable.

She is the best, both in ability and bedside manner. I had seen a fair few GI docs after getting diagnosed with UC and she is simply the most competent and the kindest out there.
