Dr. Siobhan Case, MD, MHS

Dr. Siobhan Case is an attending physician in pediatric and adult rheumatology working at Boston Children’s Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She is especially interested in helping patients with childhood-onset rheumatic disease learn self-management skills and smoothly transition into adult care.
Dr. Case went to college at Stanford University, where she graduated with University Distinction and Honors in Human Biology. She then continued to Yale School of Medicine where she completed both an MD and a Masters in Health Science as part of a Doris Duke Clinical Research fellowship.
For medical training, Dr. Case came to Boston Children’s Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital for a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics (Med-Peds), followed by a combined fellowship in Pediatric and Adult Rheumatology. Throughout her fellowship she worked at the Center for Adults with Pediatric-onset Rheumatic Illness (CAPRI), a clinic specifically …designed to help transition young adults to adult rheumatology, and I have continued my work in the CAPRI Clinic as an attending.
