Sitara Koneru-Achanti, MD

Dr. Koneru is a Vascular and Interventional Neurologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of stroke and other cerebrovascular diseases through advanced medical management and minimally invasive endovascular procedures. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and believes in partnering with patients and their families to develop individualized treatment plans. She believes that taking the time to listen, educate, and communicate clearly helps patients and their families feel confident and supported throughout their care.
Dr. Koneru completed her neurology residency at Emory University, followed by fellowship training in vascular neurology and neurointerventional surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and NYU Langone Health. Her clinical interests include acute stroke treatment, stroke prevention, cerebral aneurysms, carotid artery disease, and other complex neurovascular disorders.
