Dr. Sitaraman Jyotheeswaran, MD

Extremely rude and arrogant doctor, with a heavy accent. Talked over and ignored me, and mumbled under his breath. Also discusses irrelevant things in an effort to belittle patients, and somehow mask his mediocre knowledge

I never wrote a review in my life till-date because i know how my 2 minute frustration can undermine a lifetime effort and passion of some other individual. I have seen this doctor twice (once when i went with my friend and later when i again went for my wife). You might ask me why i went the second time. I am an Indian and i thought it would be easy communicating with him, inspite of my first encounter which was kinda odd. I chose to give him the benefit of doubt. He ended up asking us about bollywood actors and all kinda of nonsense putting aside the core issue. I understand his approach to icebreak with his patients, however, he does not know where to stop. He forgot the core issue and wasted my time and money. Defintely would not recommend this doctor.

Dr Jyothee is the most caring doctor i have ever been to. He is compassionate about his work.The best ever.

I understand bedside manner is not the most important quality that makes up a good Dr. however,it goes a long way to ease a patients stress level and the Dr. may learn some vital information to aid in his diagnosis. When Dr. Jyotheeswaren speaks to his patients he treats them as if they are unworthy of his time. If you happen to be a female he may not even allow you to speak. He will stop you in mid conversation as if what you are asking is not important and dismiss you. I would not recommend this Doctor to anyone, male of female.

My mother has cirrhosis of the liver and Dr J has been her doctor for the past year. He is very knowledgeable and caring. He always makes time for his patients. His receptionists, Melissa and Rena are always so kind and professional. I would highly recommend Dr. J. to anyone that is looking for a good GI doctor.
