Dr. Siu-Fung Chan, MD

I highly recommend Dr. Chan. My initial meeting with him last month was impressive. He was running late but apologized and explained that the reason was because he has patients who have follow-up appointments with other doctors in the office, but insist upon seeing him when they arrive at the office. He did a very thorough job of asking questions about my issue, and then did a physical exam of the area, including feeling the area to check for sore points. My next visit was for an epidural steroid injection. He did the procedure quickly and efficiently with minimal discomfort. Time will tell if this works on the issue, but I feel like I got excellent care from Dr. Chan. The people in the office and the nurses were also very kind and seemed very happy--usually a sign of being happy with the docs they work with.

He was brusque, uncaring and rude. He did not do a physical exam or even ask me to range my neck, limbs, etc. He told me up front that he couldn't help me and he was right. If my husband wasn't with me to concur, I might thing I dreamed the whole thing! He refused to do anything but refer me to pt, aqua therapy, etc. He was half an hour late and did apologize/give a reason/etc. He even took a text message and responded as we were sitting there. Please seek someone else for your pain problems!
