Dr. Sivakami Thayu, MD

had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Thayu. I had originally scheduled an appointment with her a month ago, but due to an urgent issue, I had to see another provider in the meantime. That provider suggested I get my labs done before my appointment with Dr. Thayu, so that they could be ready for review by the time my appiontment came with Dr Thayu so I did. When I arrived for my appointment, Dr. Thayu immediately questioned why I was seeing her, given that I had already seen another doctor and had my labs done. I explained the situation, but she seemed more concerned about the payment for processing my labs than about my health. She repeatedly stated I shouldn’t have scheduled with her and made me feel unwelcome, even though I had chosen her based on positive reviews. Her attitude was dismissive, very cold, and she rushed me out of the office. Additionally, she had to prescribe me antibiotics for an infection i had, I explained that I typically get a yeast infection after… taking antibiotics, and I asked her to prescribe something to take after i complete the antibiotic to prevent it, as other doctors have done in the past. She refused and told me to follow up with a gynecologist instead. I was disappointed by her lack of concern for my health and her focus on money rather than patient care. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Dr. Thayu to anyone.

Dr Thayu is a wonderful doctor. She is so caring and compassionate!! I have been seeing her for years now and she has helped me tremendously. I suffer from depression, and she has been so kind through all of it. She is also very thorough in my appointments. Best doctor I have ever been to!!

Stay away from this doctor and this practice for your own good. The doctors at this office failed my mother for many years. When I found out, it was too late. My mother's untreated medical conditions led to a major lifechanging stroke. The medical records showed that Dr. Thayu and her office had all the information they needed to treat her condition and try to prevent the major stroke. Even when I called and spoke to the doctor through her staff months before the stroke after reviewing my mother's test results which showed a history of ministrokes, and asked about my mother's continued high blood pressure and questioned why she was not on medication, I was told not to worry about it and to just "log her blood pressure." Hindsight is 20/20. Do not trust these people.

Dr. Thayu is caring, kind, spends time with you and is a diamond in the rough. She is one of those rare doctors that goes the extra mile to help you out, and does so in a kind and professional manner. She is wonderful and helped save my life.

Dr. Thayu never rushes through an appointment. She has been thorough, informative, and works with me for best other next steps. She's also given me the best referrals for other specialists and have helped me in the past to even find our pediatrician. I'm surprised each visit that she remembers all the things we've talked about in past visits even other family details and I've been going to see her for over a decade. She's the only doctor who has done a full vitamin/nutritional workup as part of her labs, checks that all her patients are on top of their routine overall health care like dental checks, etc...She works with her patients on full care not just one medical condition.

Was the worst experience I ever Had with a doctor! She hardly said anything though I was ecplaining my problems. Did not offer any concerns or help, Basically showed me the door Was unconcerned, uncaring, and Cold cold cold. I have had many tests and no answers to my pain She did not seem to care or worry about it. I am in total oooo! That she is a doctor So sad . I was in tears and she showed me the door. Her nurse was the same as they whispered giggled and basically were ....., So dont bother with this doctor??????

Dr. Thayu is absolutely the best! I find great comfort in knowing she is my medical advisor.

Very patient, thorough, caring, smart. Very easy to work with and talk to. Listens to patient concerns and suggestions. And just very friendly and nice.

I wrote this before and they deleted the review? The staff has major issues properly sending in the correct orders to the pharmacy. I was threaten on the phone by the doctors staff after I had to followup on there mistakes. Still they never corrected the orders and I had to switch doctors. If I could give a negative rating I would but vitals only lets you give one.

I have been a patient with Dr. Thayu for many years. She is a skilled doctor with excellent bedside manner; however, my opinion of her is significantly brought down by the general office and staff. As of this last year, the office staff is increasingly difficult to reach during normal work hours, and often times they are unfriendly and short with patients. Appointments do not often start on-time.Appointments are often difficult to come by and if not an emergency, they require many months to book. Even as a long-time patient and supporter of Dr. Thayu, I find myself considering other alternatives at this time.
