Dr. Skuli Tomas Gunnlaugsson, MD

He is My Dad's doctor, My Dad is 84 years old so I take him to all appointments and go in with him when he sees Dr.We love Dr G( that's what we call him ) you get in to see him within 20 minutes of your appt. time .he is very nice,he takes his time and listens to you, if I ever need a heart Dr. he will be the one I go to. 20 minutes is the longest we have ever waited to see him.

He's the best. Very approachable too. My BP is more under control than ever. .If you have cardiology issues, you need to give his office a call.

He constantly commented that he would only do a procedure if the patient wanted it. He would never make a medical decision on whether to go through with anything. That is called a cop out so that he can save himself from a lawsuit. If you choose to see him, make sure that he makes the final decisions about what is to be done. It is great that he supports patient input but patients typically don't have a medical degree or the training that Gunnlaugsson does and therefore should not be making medical decisions and letting the doctor off the hook.

Dr Gunnlaugsson, (Dr G) Is one of the smartest, caring, and kind Cardioligist's I have ever met. Dr. G has an excellent bedside manner, with one thing in mind, you the patient. He is a down to earth human being that is highly intellegent, but can communicate with anyone on any level. Dr G has cared for me, utilizing the highest caliber of his multi-faceted skills and multitude of talents, and my life is better because of it. Dr. G is the Dr, you want working with you!
