Sladjana Courson, DO

My son is almost a yr old now and we have been through 2 other ped.'s at the Barberton location. He ended up getting his 9 month check up with her by chance. I had to reschedule and his primary Dr. Aemmer wasn't available but I took the chance since it was just a check up. Dr. Courson was absolutely wonderful with my son, as well as my husband and I. I really enjoyed that she treated us as parents not patients and my son as a mother would and not as just a dr. She seemed to actually care about getting to know him and us, as well. There was no "rushing" to get to the next child, she took her time and listened to what we had to say and answered every question the best she could. Her manner, which I love, is more as a mother with a doctoral background rather than a dr. who happens to be a mom too. While Dr. Aemmer is def. at the top of my list of great pediatricians...Dr. Courson is now my sons primary physician. My son has some medical problems, so I have had my fair share of children's… dr experiences, and she has got to be (one of) the absolutely most wonderful people to have looking after my son. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!
