Dr. Slobodan Jovan Miric, MD

Unfortunately, I suffered from a severe concussion and had to undergo a craniotomy. During my recovery and in order to get back to work, my neurosurgeon told me I needed to take a Neuro Cognitive Evaluation and receive clearance from the neurologist who administered it. Dr. Miric was the only doctor who could see me on short notice and also accepted my insurance. He determined that I tested slightly below average for executive function and then sent me for 12 sessions of Occupational Therapy. The therapist sent him a report saying I was fine to go back to work, wondering all along why I was there in the first place. Then Dr. Miric wanted me to see an Occupational Therapy MD (good luck finding one). After not responding to emails and phone calls for weeks he wanted me to come into his office where he refused to tell me what I needed to do to get back to work. He told me that he wouldn’t sign off and stated that the company I work for makes millions of dollars and that they should… insure me, basically forcing me to retire. If I could rate him with a negative score I would. Thankfully I am not 35 years old with a mortgage and family to support. He would have ruined our lives. I suggest if you need to still work, need a doctor who is responsive, caring with an office staff who will help, RUN, don’t walk away from this doctor. HE IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!

I don’t have the words to describe the horrific experience with this doctor and his staff. He could not understand my lab results so he called me a liar to my face saying I was not taking the medicine . The experience was awful. No communicating, no empathy, they simple do not care.

RUN don’t walk as far as you can from this office. If a staff is rude, unprofessional, selfish, uncaring, (did I mention RUDE?), it doesn’t matter how qualified the doctor is, your visits will always be uncomfortable and frustrating.

The staff rarely picks up the phone. Very unresponsive. Seems to only be interested in the money and hooking you into long term monitoring. Wanted to prescribe medication that wasn't needed. The list goes on and on. Stay away.

I have never been treated so badly in my life. His staff are the rudest most unprofessional people I have ever met. The doctor is fine until you ask him a question about why he wants to do so many tests on you and if insurance will cover them. After that he became rude. It is a normal question to ask if you are concerned about money. His office staff has one younger girl who tells you one thing and then a nasty older woman who is the most unprofessional nasty person I have ever dealt with at a doctors office. Based on the other reviews it appears that the doctor is fine with the way she acts so I guess his office staff are a reflection of him. I have never been so disgusted with a medical practice in my life.

Disorganized, his answers make no sense “ it could be this, it could be that “, on and on,never reviewed details of test results, abandons patient, Chaotic- stay away

Dr. Miric asks a lot of questions, and gives you time to ask your own. He is direct and thorough, which I appreciate. However, working with his office staff is tough. I did not find them accommodating in terms of general administrative requests to other doctors, etc. In fact, when you call, their voices are terse and tough, not really helpful, especially if you are being tested for serious reasons. A little training in soft skills would go a long way to make not just the doctor great, but the office experience as well.

Where do I begin? He asks you what is wrong and you try to tell him, but then he interrupts you with another question that has nothing to do with your pain. He will put you on a different medication every time you’re at the office. Try to ask a question, and he will get up and walk away from you. This guy doesn’t want to help you... he just wants $$$... and he will give you every test and medication that he can to achieve that. I used to cry leaving his office. I am so glad I left him and found a different doctor who actually listens to me and has some compassion.

He put me on pain medication and then asks if “I have a problem.” He talks to you like youre an addict... when in reality, you need the medication to get up in the morning and function. He will make you feel extremely uncomfortable.
