Dr. Smeeta Sinha

My experience is similar as described by the previous reviewer. This dermatologist does not see patients anymore in an office setting. She is contracted with a large insurance carrier and reviews medication requests. She denies these requests so that the insurance saves money, and patients are unable to receive the medications they need and that a dermatologist who actually cares about the patient prescribed. It is sad to see a dermatologist do this kind of work instead of doing everything possible to help patients gaining access to much needed treatments!

This doctor does not practice anymore and does not see patients in an office. Although she comes up under an office in Harrison, NY she does not work there - when I called the office, they did not even know her name. Instead, she works for insurances. She helps the insurances to deny medications that doctors who actually see patients have prescribed to help their patients. She has no interest in patient's well-being - she only helps insurances save money and patients do not get the medications they need. Stay away from her! Very disappointing to see a doctor make patients' conditions worse, not better.
