Smita Gupta, MD

Gupta is the endocrinologist for you! I had an appointment scheduled with Gupta. I arrived on time and was put into a holding pen. After 30 minutes had passed, I had to leave because I had another appointment. I asked that she call me to answer a question. This did not seem to be an outrageous request, since she missed the appointment. I did not receive a call. However, I did receive a notice in which I was informed that her services were no longer available to me. She FIRED me for asking me to call her, after she missed her appointment! The message was clear-- I was there for her convenience, as well as for a paycheck. My additional experiences with Gupta have not been good. She is a bit condescending, and appears to get irritated if asked questions.

Perfect Dr.

Visited Dr Gupta for thyroid issues. Waited about 20 minutes for my 1:00 appointment. The office staff and nurses are very friendly and helpful. Dr. Gupta seems competent and knowledgable. As part of my appointment she reveiwed my blood tests, did a hands on examine and asked questions, just what I expected. My one negative would be her seeming unwillingness to discuss treatments options other than those which she suggested. But overall I was pleased with my visit and look forward to working with her to address my issues.
