Dr. Sneha Shah Vaish, MD

Dr. Vaish is Awesome. I'm from The Islands of The Bahamas. I was treated surgically by Dr. Vaish. As a result of the treatment I recommend her every opportunity I get. She put my safety first, made me feel like she was giving special care to her own family member. My family LOVES her. She was heaven sent. And her staff just to name two (Nurses Anthony and Nurse Enas), they reflect her character (AWESOME). That's "My Doctor". God Bless her.

I was in desperate urology pain. After waiting for hours to see her, the doctor arrived, started asking me questions to enter into the computer, made no eye contact, and abruptly told me that she could not treat me and walked out of the room. Why did she do this? Because I accidentally answered one of her questions wrong, corrected myself, and she decided that I was not being honest. This all happened in seconds. She left me sitting there with just a gown on. I did not even know what had happened and if I should wait there for someone else to come in. I finally left the room in tears. I was in pain and I had nobody to run tests and it takes weeks to get in to see a Urologist. This reflects on the Clevelend Clinic also. They are too overbooked, uncaring, and unorganized. In a sense i consider myself lucky having not had her as my doctor. I did find another Urologist in Miami and she ran the correct tests, identified the problem and I got better.

She listens, discusses options with me, tells me to think it over and contact her in a few days. Some of the highest quality care I have ever had.

After seeing Dr. Vaish, my wife and I felt traumatized and had months of needless stress and worry. To top it off, I was given a false MRI report of a PI-Rads 4 lesion (meaning it’s probably cancer) from the Cleveland Clinic. I visited Dr. Vaish for the first time, to only discuss a Urodynamics test on my bladder. I waited for 3 hours to see her, although the status monitor in the waiting area indicated that she was 30 minutes behind schedule. I was later told by staff that this is common with her. For no reason I could fathom, she came in yelling at me and was very rude. I had never met her before, and couldn’t understand the angry tone and raised voice. Without even speaking with me first, she started quickly ruffling through copies of test results I brought, and listing off all the tests I’d need to get. Again I was there for one reason and one test. She was clearly suggesting I likely had cancer. My wife asked her if she was suspecting cancer and she yelled “I’ve ordered 5… of these tests over the years, and all 5 people had cancer”. My wife burst out crying and Dr. Vaish finally backed down from her aggressive manner. My wife asked her if we did something to offend her. She said “no, can’t someone just have a bad day?”. My wife left crying and I was shaking. As it turns out, I do not have cancer. I simply had a bladder infection with mild prostatitis and BPH. However I did get the MRI she prescribed, and was given a false diagnosis of a Pi-Rads Category 4, indicating likely cancer. How do I know it was false? I brought the MRI images to an oncologist urologist at the University of Miami. He and his radiologist reviewed the MRI and saw nothing suspect. I also sent the MRI to a radiologist in Sarasota, Florida who specializes in urology/prostate diagnosis. All three said there was NOTHING there. I'll also add that I was never contacted by Cleveland Clinic or Dr. Vaish with this diagnosis. I found it by reviewing my chart on MyChart. One would think that a diagnosis of CANCER would result in the doctor calling you by telephone or setting up another appointment to discuss the results and further treatment. Can you imagine a doctor's office not notifying you about such a horrible diagnosis?! I contacted the ombudsman at Cleveland Clinic Florida, and the experience was very disappointing and only added stress to our lives. I simply wanted the remaining bill of about $250 that was not covered by insurance to be removed. I felt I shouldn’t have had to pay for all this mistreatment, trauma and false diagnosis. The ombudsman told me that Dr. Vaish admitted her bad behavior and apologized, but they sent the bill to collection anyway. My case was escalated to the ombudsman in Cleveland, Ohio. They offered to take off $40 from Dr. Vaish’s bill if I signed something saying I’d never sue. They refused to remove the cost of the misdiagnosed MRI. Both Ombudsman came off as very cold and uncaring. I never had the sense that they cared about me or my well-being. I always had the sense that they were covering themselves legally. It was appalling to me. I subsequently had an appointment with the University of Miami in Plantation. I was treated as one would expect, in a professional and caring manner. UM prescribed a Urodynamics test. I had that done a week later, and was treated and followed up by a caring team of individuals. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I have now paid the full balance due to Cleveland Clinic just to get them out of our hair, and so my credit wouldn’t be affected. I am extremely disappointed with Cleveland Clinic, and I would never, never recommend Dr. Vaish to anyone I cared about. Also I would not recommend getting an MRI at Cleveland Clinic.

Gave incorrect diagnosis. Not a very good doctor.

She took her time, listened to my problem, came up with a treatment plan after reviewing my prior testing. Very happy with my encounter and will be continuing care with her.

Dr. Vaish did not really listen to me. In fact rolled her eyes several times. She also dismissed my problem as nothing serious.
