Dr. Socrates Perez-Rodriguez, MD

Dr Perez is straight to the point and makes you feel relaxed. Small office with prompt access to answers and help. I have been coming for years. Would truly recommend this office

Very unprofessional people In this office, I took my 80 yr old dad for the first time to get an annual physical, the Dr immediately changed and added meds without any labs on hand on the very 1st visit, he just assumed he was a poorly controlled diabetic (which he is not). I got a bill from the clinic and I called to question it since I never have to pay anything for an annual physical and was told that my dad needed to get a 2ndary insurance if I didn’t want to pay anything. On that same call I requested my dad’s laboratories (05-27-22) and was directed to an app that doesn’t give you a choice to access that information, I called again the same day and requested they get mailed, 10 days later (06-06-22) I called again and they answered after probably the 7th time calling because no one would pick up, and of course they put me on hold, the nurse answered and was extremely rude I explained I’d been waiting for 10 days and her answers were in the likes of…. I don’t know, that’s the… records department, that’s not my job, I asked can you please ask them to mail it today, since I’ve been waiting for 10 days already and she said I don’t know when they are going to do it or how long it’s going to take. Never even apologized for the tests not being mailed the very first time, another 9 days went by and my sister called (06-15-22) the office manager answered and told her they were sitting in front of her and that she would mail them that same day another 5 days went by and we didn’t get anything in the mail so a family member went to pick them up were he was told I was rude and didn’t understand the way I got billed. 1st and last the billing didn’t have anything to do with me asking for my dad’s records and I paid her bill in full the minute I got the 2nd bill. I work in the medical field and I know what questions to ask when it comes to medical billing perhaps that’s what she didn’t like (by the way they charged a different office visit and I called her out for it and that’s when she got snappy at me). Whether you like someone or not, in any professional medical office you need to put first the patients health and think of the consequences of any of your actions as little as they may seem. I requested the labs to take my dad to a new Dr. who would at least look at the blood work before switching and adding to his meds, which was delayed just because this lady decided that I was rude and that she would send the lab results whenever she wanted or not do it at all, just because this looks like a Mom and Pops medical office it doesn’t mean that you make your own rules when it comes to peoples health, imagine my dad being in dire need of those labs for another doctor to make a decision in an emergency situation and these people decide I’m not gonna do it just because I didn’t like the daughter’s attitude... I don’t recommend this place and please pay attention to my review, it’s an honest review and you can’t play with patients like that. There have been many real life cases where people have died because a delayed treatment or diagnose because the doctors don’t have access to medical records.

I enjoy going to his office. He and his staff are always friendly and happy to see me, I hope ??. If there is a problem that he doesn’t specialize in, he researched and gives me the names of specialists to see. I am very happy to have him as my doctor and friend.

The worst doctor ever. Scheduled me way earlier before the doctor even came to the office. Shows no respect to patients times. Asked him questions about my health, he said, here is NOT a medical school and hang up my phone. How ridiculous is that. Doesn’t care about patients and only want to make money. I do not recommend him at all.

Hello all, I am writing this review more for the patient then for Dr. Perez. If you are looking for a doctor and staff that really care about there patients, I strongly suggest you visit Dr. Perez office. What i like about Dr, Perez is that he listens to all your concerns and will not rush you out. He is always doing continually education courses to stay on top of the cutting edge of medicine. He is also has a nice sense of humor, doesn't matter how crappy you feel going in, you will always feel much better on the way out, between the Dr. and his staff of Elaina and Melanie you will always get treated with respect and patience. They treat their patients like family and you might even get a hug on the way out. So I am happy to have found Dr, Perez and feel very confident that you will too.....this is a family run office...

I give him NO stars but had to post one for my message to be accepted. I promise you, I am not a rude, difficult person. I am friendly and compassionate. My experience with Dr. Perez was the most disconcerting experience of my life. He was arrogant, rude, and down right 'mean'! He left my room ( can't remember what reason he gave) and I sat there waiting for him to return. I had not been examined yet but had gave him medical history and my present symptoms. After sitting there for sometime I left the examining room, asked the receptionist and other person in the office where he was. They pointed to another examining room. I briefly expressed the rude, arrogant and mean attitude of this man. Honestly, they both nodded in agreement and told me they understood why I wanted to leave. I have no idea why others apparently have had such a positive experience with this mean, rude man. This is the first time I have ever written a review like this but he deserves it. I left in tears.

I love Dr Perez and his staff. They were wonderful treating my husband and he and his wife went to visit him in the hospital. Can’t say enough about them.

i love Dr, Dr. Perez. He is very patient with me always,,He explains so I am able to understand,, Also he calms me down when I am stressed about things,,

Dr. Perez is by far the best Doctor that my family and I have ever worked with. His staff is also great to work with, they're friendly, knowledgeable and schedule appointments accordingly. I have seen multiple doctors in the past 4 years who failed to diagnosed me properly and figure out why my chemical levels were out of wack. Dr. Perez had me properly diagnosed and sent to a specialist within the first few weeks of seeing me. I am currently healthier then i have ever been. Thanks,
